Essay: This is the recent Essay I have been working on in Writing and I worked really hard because I had to create a story with a partner having the same plot but different Point Of View.
Artwork: For these two boxes, which were my favorite I had do make a object and show it contrast using different elements, I found this very fun and amusing.
Poem: This is a poem I wrote in writing class and I am terrible at poems but I got a good Grade and i was surprised on how much I have improved in writing.
Year End Reflection
The samples I chose should be included in my portfolio because I feel that these are the work that really shows my changes since I got here. To show my growth or change over time I chose the elements and principles 6x6 boxes because you can see that in the first box I didn’t really try but in the second I tried my best and got a really neat piece of work. To identify strengths and weaknesses I chose the odyssey poem because I feel as if I have progressed much in writing. I was never really good at poetry and I got a good grade on a poem I didn’t really try as hard. While I was working on the 6x6 boxes I got stuck on one box trying to make it look all nice but at the end it came out all wrong and ugly so I decided to do that box again and it still came out ugly. I was stuck on finding a idea for a box but I decided to leave it as it is and see what Mr. Perry thinks of it. I did hand it in late but at least I got it in. My writing has changed very drastically since last year because last year I was so bad at writing because I wasn’t showing enough details. But now I show better and enough details. One thing I still need to work on is trying my best on every piece of work I do because I don’t really try my best in most piece of work. This portfolio shows that I am a better artist than writing or any other classes. Although its not that I am a better artist it's just that I try harder in art than any other classes.
